The Finishes Manager will also serve as the project Quality Controller, ensuring all works are documented, checked, and signed off before handover. This role includes conducting client handovers and customer satisfaction surveys after every job to maintain service excellence and continuous improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and manage all finishing works from pre-finishing to final handover.

• Supervise site teams, subcontractors, and artisans to ensure workmanship quality meets company standards.

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and quality control checklists.

• Implement and maintain documentation for all quality control processes and inspections.

• Coordinate materials procurement, deliveries, and usage to minimize waste and delays.

• Work closely with project managers, site engineers, and procurement to resolve technical and design issues.

• Conduct regular inspections and snag lists for ongoing and completed works.

• Carry out handovers and customer satisfaction surveys after completion of every project.

• Enforce health and safety compliance on all finishing activities.

• Manage cost control measures and report on progress against program and budget.

• Lead the maintenance and remedial finishes team for occupied properties as required.

• Ensure smooth coordination between construction and maintenance operations for finishes-related works.

Qualifications and Experience

• National Diploma in Building Technology, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in construction finishes, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.

• Proven track record in high-end finishing works (commercial, residential, or hospitality projects).

• Strong understanding of finishes sequencing, material properties, and quality control processes.

• Experience implementing and maintaining documentation for quality control and handovers.

• Familiarity with construction project management software and reporting tools.

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Strong leadership and people management skills.

• Practical problem-solving ability and technical judgment.
